Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

ketika itulah TUHAN Allah membentuk manusia itu dari debu tanah dan menghembuskan nafas hidup ke dalam hidungnya; demikianlah manusia itu menjadi makhluk yang hidup.


MANUSIA ITU DARI DEBU TANAH

Manusia, Ibraninya: adam, berasal dari tanah, Ibrani" Adamah bdk Kej 3:19. Nama kolektip (umat manusia) ini akan menjadi nama diri manusia pertama, Adam, bdk Kej 4:25; 5:1,3


MAKHLUK YANG HIDUP

Manusia menjadi makhluk yang hidup berkat hembusan nafas yang menghidupkan (atau juga berkat roh, Ibraninya ruah,Kej 6:17+; Yes 11:2+). Dalam bahasa Ibrani "makhluk yang hidup" itu disebut nefesy, bdk Maz 6:5+.
