Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.
O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;
Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Ia menghalau manusia itu dan di sebelah timur taman Eden ditempatkan-Nyalah beberapa kerub dengan pedang yang bernyala-nyala dan menyambar-nyambar, untuk menjaga jalan ke pohon kehidupan.


KERUB

 Kerub adalah makhluk gaib, separuh manusia separuh binatang. Ini diambil alih dari tradisi Babel. Bdk Kej 25:18+; Maz 18:11+.
